Sung to the melody of Home On The Range

Oh give me a home, where the hermit crabs roam
Where the Cod and the Chickadees play;
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word
And the tide comes and goes twice a day.
(Chorus)
Home, home on Cape Cod!
The land that our ancestors trod.
Where the Gilliatts thrived, made a home, multiplied
And....... look at us all here today!
1. Edith came first, gave only two births
Hank (junior) and little Nan-cy.
They married in course, and then they brought forth
The 26 folks here today. (Chorus)
2. Doris met John, left the Cape to move on
Raised those Handys on farming and fruit.
And that fruitful land bore a bountiful clan
But there are only 4 today we salute. (Chorus)
3. Little Peggy and Bob added two to the mob
Raised their girls while golfing all year!
Though they both are now gone, Lynne and Bob carry on
While their girls sing the chorus right here. (Chorus)
4. Clayton finally came along and set roots in Waseon
With Wanda raised Gilliatts four.
There are 33 here (!). We share love and cheer
“Cause that’s what reunions are for.
(Chorus)
Home, home on Cape Cod!
The land that our ancestors trod.
Where the Gilliatts thrived, made a home, multiplied
And....... look at us all here today!
